Whether you need to cool a shelter, cabinet, or
container, Marvair builds a unit for your requirements. In the
early 1980's, we developed innovative air conditioners
specifically for the emerging telecommunications market. Today,
Marvair is the world's leader in cooling the remote site. We
manufacture equipment in cooling capacities from 1/2 to 6 tons in
a variety of styles and configurations.
Due to the
high internal heat loads, telecommunication sites require cooling
throughout the year even when outside temperatures are cold.
Conventional residential and commercial air conditioners are not
designed for operation below 60oF (15oC).
Our units are engineered specifically for this application and
have all the necessary controls, features and safeties.
The
Marvair division builds the ComPacŪ I and ComPacŪ II
wall-mounted air conditioners with cooling capacities of one to
five tons in a variety of styles and configurations. The ComPacŪ
3 and ComPacŪ 4 wall mounted air conditioners have cooling
capacities of 66,000 to 72,000 BTUH. The ECU60 is a field
replacement for 3 ton airconditioners. It provides 50% more
cooling yet has identical supply and return air openings. Options
include hot gas reheat for dehumidification, electric resistance
heat, factory installed kits for operation in extremely hot or
cold climates and many more.
To control
your Marvair air conditioners, we offer a wide selection of thermostats
and controllers. Specifically designed for control or
redundant units, Marvair thermostats and controllers are available
from mechanical thermostats to a microprocessor controller with
remote control and monitoring capability.
Marvair
also builds the Crispaire environmental control units in cooling
capacities from 1/2 to 5 tons for the telecommunications cabinet.
The Crispaire SlimPac, DoorPac, MiniPac, and ComCool were designed
for the stringent requirement demanded by the telecommunications
industry.
